Rotorua's most active geothermal reserve, Hells Gate & Wai Ora Spa is home to exploding waters, steaming fumaroles, pools of boiling mud and the largest hot waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere.

Set amongst the active geothermal reserve is the Wai Ora Spa and Wellness Centre - visitors can experience a unique geothermal mud bath, soak in the healing waters of the pure sulphurous spas or relax with a traditional Maori massage. Mud treatments include mud facials, and full mud body scrubs.

Open daily from 8.30am - 8.30pm with complimentary return city transfers, 9.00am, 1.00pm, 5.00pm. Bookings are essential for treatments (massage, facials and body scrubs) and transfers. Located 15 mins from city centre.
